36 individuals in Kentucky face federal prescription pill charges The U.S. Attorney’s Workplace announced today that 36 individuals face various federal government prescription pill charges as part of the largest drug sweep procedure in Kentucky’s history. ‘To execute a surgical procedure of this magnitude needed unprecedented cooperation and collaboration between police entities in Eastern Kentucky,’ said U.S. Attorney’s Workplace Criminal Chief Bob McBride. Police at the state, local and federal government level have arrested 322 individuals on prescription tablet violations. USAO unsealed several federal government indictments earlier today that alleges defendants obtained thousands of pills primarily in Florida and then distributed them in Pike, Johnson, Martin, Magoffin, Fayette, Menifee and Floyd counties. All rights reserved.
